- Prepare the Edges: Ensure the edges of the artificial grass pieces are clean and straight. Trim any excess fibers to create a neat and even seam.
- Lay Out the Turf: Position the artificial grass pieces in their intended locations, allowing them to overlap slightly at the seams. This overlapping is essential for a seamless join.
- Apply Artificial Grass Tape: Unroll the artificial grass tape along the seam, placing it centrally between the overlapping pieces. Make sure the tape’s adhesive side is facing up.
- Secure with Adhesive Glue: Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive glue onto the exposed side of the tape. Press the edges of the artificial grass down onto the tape, ensuring a uniform and secure bond.
- Weigh Down the Seams: Place heavy objects or weights along the seam to keep it securely in place while the adhesive cures. Allow the recommended time for the glue to set, as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Brush and Blend: Once the adhesive has fully cured, use a stiff brush to blend the fibers along the seam. This helps achieve a natural and cohesive appearance.
