During the opening of Cruyff Court Class ’92 in Salford (UK), the Johan Cruyff Foundation and TenCate announced the extension of their partnership by three years. The synergy between the missions of the two organizations makes them perfect partners. The Cruyff Foundation supports and develops sports activities for children worldwide, which matches perfectly with our ambition to create as many playing fields as possible for children to meet one another, be active and stay healthy.
The Cruyff Foundation and TenCate have been jointly realizing such playing fields for more than twenty years. The artificial grass used is safe, durable and will last for years. And can be accessed in any kind of weather, come rain or shine. Allowing children to play at all times and in any weather conditions, such as extreme dryness or after heavy rainfall.
The past years, TenCate and the Cruyff Foundation have jointly realized 227 Cruyff Courts in more than 20 countries. And with the partnership being extended, 70 more fields will be built in the coming three years. Allowing even more children to play sports and live a healthier and happier life.
Watch what Niels Meijer, Director of the Cruyff Foundation, and Vincent Homrighausen, Managing Director Downstream EMEA at TenCate, say about the partnership.
