Artificial grass is easy to clean when it comes to pet droppings. You simply scoop them up as you would on normal grass and then hose the grass off. And while polyurethane and latex backings are built to let fluid pass through, urine odors can present a challenge. Just like other stainless synthetic household surfaces, artificial grass can trap odors that are hard to detect and eliminate.
So if you’ve already cleaned up and hosed down your pet’s favorite spot and still notice a lingering odor, simply wipe down the surface with a vinegar mixture. Once dried, this should eliminate any residual odor.
